しかも午後から所用があり結局休みといいつつフリーな時間が少ない。
平日であれば嵐山へ桜を見に行っても週末より人が少なくて楽だと思い
ちょっと午前中ひとっ走り。
I got a day off today but the weather was cloudy, and I had to go somewhere on my business so I could ride my bike only this morning. Arashiyama in Kyoto is a famous sight seeing spot in Japan and there are always crowded with people on weekend, so I think this was a chance to visit there on weekday and I went by my road bike.
季節的にウエアに悩んだが、ウインドブレーカー＋アームウォーマー、足はUVレッグカバーで行く。
ウインドブレーカーは最初の15分だけ使用という結果だったが、思いのほか気温が上がらずアームウォーマー着用は正解だった。
For a while I undecided the cyclewear which I should wear, and finally I decided to wear a windbreaker, arm warmer and uv leg cover. I soon took my windbreaker off after starting 15 minutes, but temperature was not getting warmer so the arm warmer was useful for cycling today.
嵐山はまだ少し肌寒く感じた。ちょうど桜が散り始めといった感じでギリギリ満開。平日といえどそこそこの観光客、そしていくつかのグループやソロの自転車乗りがいた。やはり季節柄桜に目が行きますね。
I felt a bit cold in Arashiyama. Cherry blossoms were in full bloom but started falling. And so many people were there, and I met some group and solo cyclist. Every spring I cannot help watching cherry blossoms.
