Danny Macaskill - Bike in Capetown

Danny Macaskill の新しいVideoがリリースされていました。

最近知ったのですが、彼のバイクは24inchなんですね。

しかし最近まともに自転車に乗る時間がない・・・。

今年は仕事が忙しくなかなか行けなかった富士見へ
ようやく行くことが出来ました。

前日の夜に結構な雨が降り、ウェットコンディションでしたが
久々のMTBダウンヒルはやはり楽しい。

来シーズンはもっと来れるといいな。

EGO-Kit

久しぶりの更新です。

未だにゆっくり自転車に乗る時間が取れないのですが
なんとなく見つけたこのEGO-Kit、
今乗っているMTBに電動アシストをつけてしまうことが出来るようです。
（市販されているMTB７割程度につく、
　ということらしいですので確実ではありませんが）

これがあれば登りが楽になり
近所の山でもダウンヒルが出来そうですね。




そういえば、今後英語の併記は時間に余裕があるときのみにします（苦笑）。

Pretty busy now

このところ仕事がかなり忙しくて更新が滞っております。
今日、今年初めて見ることが出来たツールが最終日とか
そんな感じで仕事しています。

落ち着いたらまた更新を再開する予定ですので

Arashiyama

今日は代休をもらったのだが天気がイマイチ。
しかも午後から所用があり結局休みといいつつフリーな時間が少ない。
平日であれば嵐山へ桜を見に行っても週末より人が少なくて楽だと思い
ちょっと午前中ひとっ走り。

I got a day off today but the weather was cloudy, and I had to go somewhere on my business so I could ride my bike only this morning. Arashiyama in Kyoto is a famous sight seeing spot in Japan and there are always crowded with people on weekend, so I think this was a chance to visit there on weekday and I went by my road bike.

季節的にウエアに悩んだが、ウインドブレーカー＋アームウォーマー、足はUVレッグカバーで行く。
ウインドブレーカーは最初の15分だけ使用という結果だったが、思いのほか気温が上がらずアームウォーマー着用は正解だった。

For a while I undecided the cyclewear which I should wear, and finally I decided to wear a windbreaker, arm warmer and uv leg cover. I  soon took my windbreaker off after starting 15 minutes, but temperature was not getting warmer so the arm warmer was useful for cycling today.

ストリート用のグローブを新調しました。


ストリート用として選ぶ基準は「シンプルに限る」
さて、使い心地は良い感じです。
あとは耐久性ですが・・・いつまでもつかな？


I bought a new glove for street riding.
The reason why I chose this glove is its "simplicity".
Personally I feel this good, and I hope that it's durable.

After a windstorm.

ようやく山へ行く余裕が出来たので2ヶ月振りにトレイルへ向かった。

桜が咲き始めていた。以前走った時はまだ雪が残っていたのだが。

I went mountain biking. I had not ridden for 2 month.

Cherry blossoms start blooming. 

Last time I came here, then still snow remained.

久しぶりなのでやはり心肺能力が落ちていた。

木漏れ日の中、いつもより長めの休憩。

It's been a long time since I rode my bike before and I lose my physical strength. I take a rest longer than usual.

Street

１ヶ月以上自転車に乗れていなかったが
午前中は予定があったので午後から久しぶりにストリート。

しばらく乗っていないとバランス感覚を取り戻す練習から。

# まぁ、年齢的なものもあるし（苦笑）。

昔よく 練習した河川敷に2年振りくらいに練習に来てみた。

自転車盗難にあったM君も友達から譲り受けたBMXで参上。
彼は最近ここで練習しているらしい。

久しぶりなので来年の受験の話とかしながら練習。
以前（と言っても当時彼は中学生だったが）よりだいぶ上手くなっていた。

最近ここで練習しているというBMXライダーもいて
いろいろと話が出来て楽しかった。

またストリート練習もちょくちょくやろうと思う。
次はBMXで来るかな。

It was rainy weekend.

結局今週末は土日共に雨で乗れなかったので動画編集。
先月の残りの画像と動画をアップロードしておきます。

It was rainy weekend, so I edited my trail riding movie and upload these movies and the pictures which I took then.

来週は晴れるといいな。

I hope the weather will be nice next weekend.

Using GoPro camera for the first time...

実はGoProを最初に使用した日にいきなりぶつけた。
その時の映像がこれ。

To tell the truth, When I used my GoPro camera for the first time, then I hit the camera against a twig. Here's the movie as follows:


ハードカバーのレンズ部分に傷が入って結構ブルーに（苦笑）。

Then I was feeling blue because the hardcase on the lense was scratched :-(

Getting better

日々の忙しさからもうじき解放されそうなので
先月上旬に走った際のビデオを編集しつつイメトレ開始。
もうすぐ走りに行けるかな。

I'm busy still now but my situation is getting better day by day, so I'm editing some videos which I recorded with GoPro last time. I hope I can go mountain biking soon again.

最近仕事が忙しくて帰りが遅い・・・。気晴らしに。

I'm busy and I work until late at night recently.
I watch the movie to take my mind off work.

Who's bike?

今日ショップに行くと見慣れない真っ赤なMTBがあった。

Today I went to the bike shop where I often go, I found the red mountain bike which I have never seen before.

Fine weather

先日少し山が白くなっていたのでどうかと思ったが、その後晴天が続いたので今年初めての山走りに行ってきた。

A few days ago the mountains which I often go biking were white with snow, then I thought that I could not go mountain biking this weekend, but after that the sunny weather has continued and today I went mountain biking, yeah it's the first time of this year.

前回の凍えるような寒さと違い、登りでは少し汗ばむほど。そういえば前回は全く見掛けなかったのに今日は結構ロードバイクを見掛けた（苦笑）。そういえばハイカーも多かったし、他のMTBerも2台ほど山中で出会う。少し暖かくなると人が動くということかな。

The temperature was a little bit warmer than the previous mountain biking, so I saw road cyclists, hiking people, and other mountain bikers today. I hadn't seen them last time:-)

あけましておめでとうございます。

本日はみんなで今年最初のＭＴＢライドに行く予定でしたが雨のため中止となりました。

またの機会に行くとします。

I had a plan to go mountain biking with my bike fellows today, but it was rainy morning so we gave it up. We will plan to do another time.
